I was overcome by the quiet bounty of small insect life far out onto the dry lake bed, and wanted to explore the juxtaposition between the seemingly desolate landscape and the

hand-crafted poppy flowers. Poppy Field is an ongoing process and performance based project which involves the artist transforming her deceased mother's clothes into flowers of remembrance.
